Abstract

Intentional murder and its punishment have a long lifespan in human history and have always been accompanied by ups and downs, extremes and extremes. At the time of the revelation of the divine verses, the two heavenly religions, Judaism and Christianity, had taken the path of extremes; Among the Jews, the punishment for intentional homicide was absolute retribution, and Christians absolutely denied retribution. Retribution was also among the Arabs, but it was subject to tribal power; which sometimes caused murders and long wars; And if a tribe did not have the power of revenge and confrontation, the murderer would never be punished; But Islam presented a middle way and far from extremes, which has given amazing value and respect to human beings; Retribution has been made a punishment for intentional murder and also recommended amnesty and ransom.
