In this article, which was written about the background of the guardianship of the jurist, a general overview of the world of Shia scholars' thoughts regarding the guardian of the jurist has been made. In other words, is velayat-e-faqih one of the issues that have been raised in recent centuries or does velayat-e-fiqih have a history as long as the history of jurisprudence and jurisprudence? To explain this idea, the views of Shia jurists have been discussed in a list-wise manner. This article has been written by documentary method and literature and library review. With this method, we can come to the conclusion that the guardianship of the jurist is certain among the Shia jurists, the end of the discussion is in the area of his guardianship. Some of the jurists consider the scope of his province in ruling, judging and enforcing the limits, which is the work of the government, and without the establishment of the government, the implementation of such things will lead to chaos in the present time.
